Facebook says its ‘Friends’ and ‘Instagram’ apps will be free to download and play, but that it won’t stop users from sharing videos and photos with friends and family

Posted September 09, 2018 09:16:10While Facebook’s Instagram app is still a free app for users to download on their smartphones, the social media giant says it wont stop users sharing videos with friends or family.

The social network has a suite of video and photo sharing apps, including one called Instagram, which has been available for download on Facebook for years.

Facebook says it is working with app developers to create new video and photos sharing options that it will be rolling out to all users in the coming weeks.

Instagram also has a new video player for Android, which is a similar app to Facebooks existing video player, which users can use to share videos with family and friends.

Facebook already offers video sharing on iOS, and it will also launch a video sharing app for Android phones in the first quarter of 2019.

Facebook is adding video, photo and video chat to Instagram and Instagram Messenger, which are separate apps that allow users to view and chat with friends.

While Facebook is not allowing users to post videos directly to Instagram or Facebook Messenger, users can upload photos to those apps and post videos and images directly to Facebook.

Instagram is free to use on Android and iOS devices, but Facebook will charge a small monthly fee for video, video chat and photo apps, as well as add-ons to Facebook Messenger.

The company also is testing a video-only video app called Photo Moments.
