Axios/Getty Images/The Room is a board game that has captivated millions of people since its release in 2006.
Created by Matt Mercer and Mattie Brice, The Room has been hailed as one of the most innovative games ever created, and has since become one of gaming’s most talked-about video games.
Its popularity has led to the creation of several sequels and spinoffs, including the 2017 video game The Room 2: The Room, a follow-up to the popular game that’s been in development since 2008.
Now, The Game Awards has named The Room 3, a new expansion to the game that will allow players to play the game in real-time with the help of a virtual reality headset.
This time around, The game will offer up a full 360-degree experience that allows players to see every detail of the game’s environment in the virtual world, and also to interact with each other in a virtual world.
“With The Room you can step in and become a real-life version of yourself, as you experience the world in a new way,” Mercer wrote on his website.
“You can walk through a room, and experience all the sights and sounds, and be the one that’s talking about The Room when you’re in the game.”
In The Room: VR, the game will allow for a more intimate experience, with players only able to see the outside world through the VR headset.
Players will be able to walk around a room and see the interior of the building, interact with other players in the real world, or even take a virtual selfie with the virtual space that is the virtual environment.
Players can purchase a virtual version of The Room in VR through a subscription, or through a single purchase, as long as they pay $50.
In addition to the $50 subscription, players can buy the game at a discount through Steam.
The Room 3 will launch on May 12, 2017 for PC, Mac, and Linux, and on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of The Rooms next-gen console.
In the meantime, the new expansion will also be available in the Oculus Rift virtual reality headsets on May 10.
